Family resources

Our Programs

We host a number of Family Resource Programs, in coordination with our supporting partners.  Please explore the programs we have to offer.

Food

After the Bell

During the summer, the Food Banks Canada provides BDCS individual bags of a variety of snacks for us to give to our families.

Free Bread Program

We are fortunate to receive baked goods from local businesses.  Bread is given for free at the Beverly Daycare Society location.

Parenting

Stay and Play

Stay & Play is a valuable program for parents and children (birth to 6 years old) to attend together. Registration is required for now to limit the number of families in the playgroup.

Play areas are set up with blocks, toys, crafts, and age-appropriate science experiments to encourage curiosity and natural learning.  Children and guardians are given a safe and inviting learning environment to explore.

Parent Workshops

Parent workshops are frequently hosted to offer knowledge for parents and community members.  Some workshops we have hosted are Speechified, Bringing Stories to Life, and Canada Revenue.  Check here often.

Donation Centre & Clothing Exchange

We encourage our community members to drop off gently used clothing that their family has outgrown to be used by other members of the community.

All donated clothing is available, free of charge.
