Beverly Day Care Society & Family Resource Centre has given me a support network where I didn’t have one.
I put my 2-year-old son into daycare with BDCS right after my daughter was born. I was stretched pretty thin, and he did not have many social opportunities. As a result, he was shy and skittish. After attending daycare, It didn’t take long for him to blossom into a confident, chatty boy.
While visiting their Stay and Play program, not only did I meet my best friend (which was the start of my local support network), I was also assisted in signing up my son in a pre-school program with Candora. During that school year, he met with professional Occupational Therapists and a Speech Pathologist, where his speech delays were addressed.
He is currently enjoying his Grade 1 classes, and his sister now excitedly attends BDCS.
The staff at BDCS are wonderful. Without a doubt, these programs have had a huge role in the healthy early childhood development of my children and I would recommend them to anyone with young children.
